Time

The time I spent with you
Is what matters to me
While you may not realize
You’ll miss me when I’m gone
Then it’s too late to reconnect
‘Cause you’d want to spend some
And memories flash inadequately
But I’ll be nowhere to be found
Tears never will be enough
Nor will the hooch bring me back
Why not just give me the minutes
Now, when you really can
Worry less about the world
Making what you spend with me
One of few things that is worth!
