Daydream

I looked for you everywhere
As if you were gone forever
Tears filled up sooner than grief
And I didn’t know if I were over

Everything around reminds of you
As if you are still here somewhere
Perhaps you are, in a parallel universe
And from above, smiling down on me

The heart beat for your glimpse
As if you might come back anytime
May be you would if I looked harder
And I didn’t know where else I could

Eons have gone by without closure
As if the world has come to an end
You crept in just like a daydream
And I felt you were always here in me
