Happy Ending

It may have never happened
Even though it feels so real
We are separated by vacuum
That are worlds far and apart
I gave you the best of my heart
While you shared some pieces
There was never a glue that held
For this was not supposed to be
Regardless of my persuasion
You didn’t curve around to see
When I waited for you to return
Forever, was the one awaiting

Let’s take a chance to rewrite
To make that happy ending
It is going to be you and I
No matter how it is destined
The world should seem new
With nothing to hide this time
Doing what beloved do best
Dreaming till all comes true
Making one memory at a time
Where you turn each time I call
Until the skies and seas meet
And words are meant to keep
