There is a twinge in my heart
That I cannot possibly share
I want to close my eyes forever
So I can capture you in my glare
You are the center of my world
Reason for my incredible flair
You are a vision to my lassitude
A desire to follow you everywhere
When I see other souls depart
It is so much loss to bear
Looking for excuses to hate you
To breathe when you’re not here
If I were ever to lose your smile
Unfathomable will be my despair
Beside you, I always want to be
Even if I’m your worst nightmare
But I know I’m just your impulse
My existence is not for your care
