Forty

They say life begins at forty
Perhaps when we become naughty
Those who have and are pushing
We should be upright blushing
This is when we become our moms
And have absolutely no qualms
Curves show, those we never knew
Aches, pains and beauty spots few
Health, fitness suddenly are a craze
Always working towards a raise
Priorities bloom the right way
While some strands look gray
Excuses make way for realization
New adventures create sensation
Infatuation, love all feel the same
Life probably is a changing game
They say life starts at forty
It’s true that it is the new twenty
