Woman

You didn’t want my genesis
Yet, I lived on through retrenches
I brought intense disappointment
Yet, I shimmered the horizons
There was felt ponderous burden
Yet, I reigned supreme in many stars
My existence was cheaply objectified
Yet, I vanquished malice with ease
The bias was glaringly obvious
Yet, I gave meaning to the strong
Twilight was made my refuge
Yet, I colored your hollow world
Despicable, was where I stood
Yet, I am the quintessence of life
Woman and weak, they called
Yet, every dream I enthralled
