Disappear

All I want is a life austere
But loving you is leaning on a bier
It feels far even when you’re near
Just when I feel home, you disappear

If you must leave, let me know
I’d like to live on with a new beau
Waiting for you doesn’t let me grow
It’s like the winds that never blow

When the heart hurts it is strong
Yet, what you do is very wrong
When you’re not solemn, don’t prolong
Making our existences a sad song

Everyone says our love will survive
Perhaps it’s unknown we don’t jive
For us, you don’t as much as I strive
Don’t weep when ashes don’t revive
