Heart’s Content

The world may close on us

And the skies fall down

Before I lose my mind

Let me love you to heart’s content

We have to race against time

And there is no being together

Before I hex our future

Let me love you to heart’s content

There is so much hurt

And it cannot heal with time

Before I take refuge in penance

Let me love you to heart’s content

When our filial affections overtake

And frivolousness is shunned

Before my dedication is sacrificed

Let me love you to heart’s content
